World Police and Fire Games Winnipeg 2023

As the largest sporting event ever hosted in the Province of Manitoba, the 2023 World Police and Fire Games is an exciting and rewarding community-wide sports event that takes place from July 28 – August 6, 2023.

Held biennially, the World Police and Fire Games is an Olympic-style competition with more than 8,500 athletes representing law enforcement, firefighters, and police officers from more than 50 countries across the world. These athletes compete in more than 60 unique sports. Founded and hosted several times in the United States, past host countries include, Australia, Canada, China, Northern Ireland, Spain, and Sweden.

The St Vital Curling Club is very excited tobe the host club for the curling event at the 2023 World Police and Fire Games in Winnipeg.

The Draw

There are 14 teams competing for medals in curling. The first draw starts at 3pm on August 1st, 2023 with the medal games on August 5th at 6pm. Admission is free for all for the extent of the event.
